The Keeper was created with nineteen different recycled watch stems. Each stem was snipped into the correct size for a "bone" in each finger, and each bone was soldered together with lead free silver bearing solder to produce a finger. When all fingers were created, they were soldered together onto a watch plate. After the hand was formed and shaped into a clawlike grasp, it was soldered onto an vintage watch face with metal numbers. A watch gear holds the entire assembly onto the pendant bail. This is a very special and one of a kind piece, never to be reproduced exactly.
The Keeper is 18mm wide and 20mm tall. It comes on a premium18" sterling silver chain with links measuring 1.5mm.
