Scarab by AMechanicalMind Scarab by AMechanicalMind
buy: [link]

Scarab consists of parts from several old and irrepairable watches which have been disassembled, cleaned, and rearranged to form a new work of art. Each of his gears tell a story from a past life as a watch. Instead of putting full watch movements on a chain, these pieces are one of a kind, hand designed and soldered (no hot glues or resins are ever used) using lead free silver bearing solder. All pieces are named or numbered ensuring that there will never be one that is exactly the same as another. These are truly one of a kind wearable sculptures.

Scarab is 23mm wide by 39mm tall and comes on an 18" black waxed cotton cord with lobster clasp. Also available is an antiqued brass cable chain with links measuring 1.3mm or antiqued silver plated cable chain with links measuring 1.2mm if you prefer a gold tone chain.

Premium Sterling Silver Round Cable chains are also available at extra cost:

Hey I have a question, just visited your online store and wanted to know something. I'm not in US but I have a mailbox in Florida, everything I buy online ships to that address and another company ship the package to my country, which is Panama in Central America. So, my question is, if I buy it and give you that address in Florida, will you charge me the US price or the everywhere else price?

Oh I really love this new piece of yours, it's a bit different from anything you have done before.

Btw, my mother wears her "Serpent & the Sea" necklace pretty much daily. I haven't seen her not wearing it since she got it back with the longer chain.

I was going for chunkier and more masculine on this one, yet all the while showing off the delicateness of the gears. I'm mostly happy with it. Kinda looks evil.

So glad your mother actually wears her necklace...that's when you know they really like it!
