Reliquary was created with nineteen different recycled watch stems. Each stem was snipped into the correct size for a "bone" in each finger, and each bone was soldered together with lead free silver bearing solder to produce a finger. When all fingers were created, they were soldered together onto a watch plate. After the hand was formed and shaped into a clawlike grasp, it was imprisoned in an antique watch case. The case itself has been hollowed and ground so that only one strap end still exists, and from this, the necklace chain is strung. This is a very special and one of a kind piece, never to be reproduced exactly.
Reliquary is 26mm wide and 5mm tall. It comes on an 18" antiqued silver plated chain with links measuring 1.7mm. Longer or shorter chains can be made to order, so let us know in the checkout section if you require something different.
