One Hundred Eighty Eight sends pulses of mechanical energy through the chasms of the world, shaking the foundations of mountains and spilling the seas of their water. He delights in chaos and sees the beauty of destruction. He wants all the world and its parts to look like the surface of the moon.

He gears up for a pulse of epic magnitude.

One Hundred Eighty Eight is made with many recycled parts of mechanical watches. His main piece is a watch plate with watch jewels still intact. His large circles are balance wheels, his smaller gears are brass and steel face and winding gears. The "piston" on his right side is actually a winding stem. This is not just a watch movement glued on a chain, but a hand-designed, inidividually arranged work of art. All the gears came seperately from different watches and are soldered by hand using a lead free silver bearing solder. He is one of a kind and will never be reproduced.

One Hundred Eighty Eight is 20mm wide by 24mm tall and comes on an 18" antiqued silver plated cable chain with lobster clasp. Each link on the chain measures 1.3mm. If you require and longer or shorter chain, please let us know in the comments section during checkout!
