[link]Ocean Bird is made with recycled watch parts called balance cocks. His torso is made from a pocket watch long disused and unloved, made in the late 1880's, while his wing is from one about twenty years later. A smaller, newer balance cock with watch jewel has been soldered onto the wing. He is attached to his chain using yet another watch gear. His leg is a watch winding stem bent and shaped with a torch. He is soldered together (never glued) using lead free silver bearing solder. He is one of a kind and unique in the world...there will never be another exactly like him.
Ocean Bird is 25mm wide by 24mm tall and comes on a 16' antiqued silver plated cable chain of links measuring 1.3mm. Longer or short chains may be made, so just let us know in the notes section at checkout if you need a different size. A silver plated lobster clasp fastens the chain together.
