Mantid is a unique recycled watch parts creature inspired by Preying Mantises and Spiders.

He was created with a variety of watch parts including watch strap springs, winding stems, watch plates, gears, silver watch face wings, and a blue Christmas tree light which makes up his tail. His blue eye is a winding stem knob, his other eye a watch balance bridge.

Mantid is soldered together using silver bearing, lead free solder. No glue was used in the creation of this piece.

Dimensions: 36mm wide, 57mm tip to tail, 51mm tall He comes with a 3" by 4" glass dome with walnut base for display. He is extremely fragile and should be handled sparingly and very gently, and is most definitely not a toy.
