Having survived the cull of dutch elm disease, Elm Tree stands as the lone elm of the forest by the pond. He lives near his friends, Shade Tree Decendant and Beech Tree. The three stand in a clearing, swapping stories of being saplings and whiling away the days blowing in the cool breeze.
The squirrels are always tickling him.
Elm Tree is made with recycled watch gears and parts removed from old watches and reassembled into something new, special, and one-of-a-kind. Each gear is hand placed and soldered with lead-free silver bearing solder (no hot glue or any glue allowed here!) Each piece has its own story and place in the world of A Mechanical Mind...no two pieces will ever be the same!
Elm Tree is 24mm wide by 21mm tall and comes on an overall 16" (40 cm) antiqued cable chain with links measuring approximately 1.1 mm each. The chain may be made longer or shorter depending on your preference...please note this in the comments section when ordering if you are in need of a different size!
