Clockwork Pendant 'Thrush'

Thrush flits in an out of the shade trees, dogfighting with the sparrows and swallows. He alights just long enough to catch his birdbreath, and swoops off again in search of foes and fun. He never lingers long, protecting his family from the serpents of the world.

He has not yet adjusted to daylight savings time.


Thrush is made with recycled watch gears and parts removed from old watches and reassembled into something new, special, and one-of-a-kind. Each gear is hand placed and soldered with lead-free silver bearing solder (no hot glue or any glue allowed here!) Each piece has its own story and place in the world of A Mechanical Mind...no two pieces will ever be the same!

Thrush is 5/8" tall from head to bird toe (16mm) by 7/8" wide from beak to wingtip (23mm) and comes on an overall 16" (40 cm) antiqued squared cable chain with links measuring approximately 1.1 mm each. The chain may be made longer or shorter depending on your preference...please note this in the comments section when ordering if you are in need of a different size!
