The thorax is a custom made chassis created from four watch plates, brass train gears, a balance wheel, and a spring barrel cover. Watch winding stems and strap springs act as horizontal bracers.

The head is a watch dial, cut and bent into shape. His eyes are winding stem knobs.

Wings are watch dials, cut and sanded into shape. These are soldered onto watch strap springs. Brass wheels on the wings act as decoration.

Abdomen is made from watch dials, cut and shaped into rounds. Strap springs act as support.

Antennae are tiny parts that hold gears in watches.

Legs are watch winding stems that have been broken and soldered at the "knuckles."
